First of all we can not see into the future; however I can assure you that the bankruptcy is not going to ruin the big day when it comes. Now we all know that once we file bankruptcy that stays on our credit report for 5-7 years and can prevent us from getting the good credit loan interest rates. Australians are expected to spend more than $4 billion using their debit and credit cards over the course of 2011, according to new figures.

The tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri, on May 22 ruined more than 7,000 homes and killed 162 people. While most residents of the town faced serious devastation in the storm’s wake, few individuals were hit quite as hard as Mark Lindquist.

According to reports from the Associated Press, Lindquist suffered injuries from the tornado that cracked all his ribs, caused him to lose his teeth and put him in a coma for two months. Now, he faces medical bills of $2.5 million, he still needs extensive medication and surgery and he doesn’t have health insurance, because he couldn’t afford it on his salary (which was just slightly above minimum wage).

What’s more, though Lindquist reportedly sustained the injuries while at work, his application for workers’ compensation was denied by the insurance company, sources note. The reason? Lindquist
